Son deuxi\u00e8me livre, superbe travail de composition, restitue la figure de sa propre m\u00e8re, disparue en 2013. Tr\u00e8s exactement depuis 3037 jours, un peu plus de huit ans, lorsque commence l\u2019\u00e9criture. Non pas sous la forme classique d\u2019un portrait, mais par un savant jeu d\u2019\u00e9clairage sur des objets, des personnes ou encore des lieux renvoyant aux moments disparates d\u2019une vie<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"638\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/jclebrun.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/LUDIVINE-638x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1513\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jclebrun.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/LUDIVINE-638x1024.jpg 638w, https:\/\/jclebrun.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/LUDIVINE-187x300.jpg 187w, https:\/\/jclebrun.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/LUDIVINE.jpg 718w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Erika, surnomm\u00e9e Heidi, avait promis \u00e0 sa fille, l\u2019a\u00een\u00e9e de ses quatre enfants, de lui \u00e9crire l\u2019histoire de sa famille. Elle ne le fit jamais, imaginant n\u2019\u00eatre pas encore entr\u00e9e dans ce temps d\u2019urgence o\u00f9 les souvenirs, tenant d\u00e9sormais les premiers r\u00f4les sur notre sc\u00e8ne mentale, exigent d\u2019\u00eatre fix\u00e9s. Tout comme sa fille, elle pensait \u00ab\u00a0<em>qu\u2019il y aurait encore des milliers de lendemains<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb avant que ne sonne l\u2019heure. La blonde enfant allemande n\u00e9e en 1935 \u00e0 Brombach en For\u00eat Noire, non loin de la Suisse, aurait certainement eu mati\u00e8re \u00e0 beaucoup \u00e9crire. Telle par exemple la Nelly de Christa Wolf, dans \u00ab\u00a0<strong><em>Trame d\u2019enfance<\/em><\/strong>\u00bb, sur le plein bonheur des toutes premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, alors que la trag\u00e9die d\u00e9j\u00e0 se pr\u00e9parait\u00a0: \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque il y avait d\u2019abord eu pour elle les sorties en for\u00eat, \u00ab\u00a0<em>entour\u00e9e de foug\u00e8res et d\u2019oiseaux<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb et la d\u00e9couverte de la lecture. C\u2019\u00e9tait avant \u00ab\u00a0<em>la honte d\u2019\u00eatre allemande.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb Elle e\u00fbt pu \u00e9galement \u00e9crire sur \u00ab\u00a0<em>la faim terrible<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb des ann\u00e9es de guerre et son s\u00e9jour chez une tante en Suisse, \u00e0 Saint-Gall au bord du lac de Constance, pour \u00ab\u00a0<em>se remplumer<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 Bien plus tard, \u00e7\u2019aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 sur son mariage avec un diplomate indien du Bureau International du Travail, originaire de Goa, de pr\u00e8s de vingt ans son a\u00een\u00e9. Tout cela que sa fille \u00e9gr\u00e8ne au fil de brefs chapitres, comme autant de rep\u00e8res temporels dans le d\u00e9sordre des souvenirs. Un parcours de vie se donne ainsi\u00a0 \u00e0 voir, en quelque sorte redoubl\u00e9 par le bouleversant inventaire auquel proc\u00e8de Ludivine Ribeiro.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Il y a, comme agraph\u00e9es au milieu du reste, ces six listes \u00ab&nbsp;<em>de ce qu\u2019elle aimait&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Il s\u2019agit en effet pour elle de ne pas laisser trop vite s\u2019effacer la pr\u00e9sence de sa m\u00e8re. Il en advient donc ce livre d\u2019une rare justesse, dans lequel vient confluer le flux d\u00e9sordonn\u00e9 qui assaille la survivante. Sans autre priorit\u00e9 que l\u2019urgence de l\u2019instant. D\u00e9clench\u00e9 par la vue d\u2019un objet, d\u2019une paire de souliers, l\u2019exhumation d\u2019une photo ou d\u2019une carte postale (il y en avait 89), la lecture d\u2019un agenda comme d\u2019une simple recette, ou encore une association d\u2019id\u00e9es. Et puis il y a, comme agraph\u00e9es au milieu du reste, ces six listes \u00ab&nbsp;<em>de ce qu\u2019elle aimait&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, depuis \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Mozart<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb et \u00ab&nbsp;<em>les p\u00e2tes de fruits<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb au d\u00e9but de la premi\u00e8re, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00ab<em>&nbsp;rouler dans la For\u00eat Noire&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb et \u00ab&nbsp;<em>apprendre<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb \u00e0 la fin de la derni\u00e8re. En m\u00eame temps sobre et d\u00e9licate mani\u00e8re de restituer la mosa\u00efque de cette vie. Pour Ludivine Ribeiro, dont l\u2019objectif est de &nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;<em>compenser son absence par l\u2019\u00e9criture&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, il s\u2019agit en effet de ne s\u2019interdire le recours \u00e0 aucune forme. Les listes participent de cette vis\u00e9e. Ainsi encore de ces chapitres intitul\u00e9s \u00ab&nbsp;<em>La vie des objets<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, dans lesquels elle \u00e9voque l\u2019inclination constante de sa m\u00e8re \u00e0 s\u2019approprier ceux-ci en les transformant au gr\u00e9 de sa fantaisie, souvent en les repeignant et des d\u00e9corant&nbsp;: coiffeuse comme piano, tabouret comme armoire \u00e0 pharmacie. Dans ces chapitres, \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on du Nouveau Roman, se dessine un portrait en creux&nbsp;: un caract\u00e8re appara\u00eet gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la simple description de son environnement. &nbsp;Et m\u00eame, au-del\u00e0, une histoire familiale.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Des objets votifs<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ce saisissant travail de composition se pr\u00e9sente comme une &nbsp;r\u00e9ponse, par la litt\u00e9rature, \u00e0 la question qui avait surgi d\u00e8s la disparition de la m\u00e8re&nbsp;: que resterait-il de celle-ci&nbsp;pour faire pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 l\u2019in\u00e9vitable \u00e9rosion qu\u2019on appelle l\u2019oubli&nbsp;? Dont l\u2019une des cons\u00e9quences \u00e0 long terme est, pour celle qui reste et qui aujourd\u2019hui \u00e9crit, cette \u00ab&nbsp;<em>m\u00e9moire de soi-m\u00eame enfant&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb appel\u00e9e aussi \u00e0 dispara\u00eetre avec l\u2019effacement de la m\u00e8re. Une assiette cass\u00e9e, un pull marin, un chandelier, des pierres peintes, des violettes\u2026lui tiennent maintenant lieu d\u2019objets votifs. Tandis que le livre avance, dans son apparence de d\u00e9sordre se laisse percevoir de plus en plus fort, par del\u00e0 le chagrin provoqu\u00e9 par la s\u00e9paration, la certitude consolante d\u2019une beaut\u00e9 inh\u00e9rente \u00e0 cette vie.
